A funny random thing that happened to me... I was roadtripping across the country to visit my family in the midwest last week, when I happened to stop at Nordstrom Rack in the middle of Illinois to see if I could find a dress for a outdoor, hot weather family reunion I'd be attending.
Low and behold on the sale rack, what do I find marked down to $69?? The exact same dress that I fell in love with two months ago hanging their all alone, in my size, from Leifsdottir (originally over $300). Score!
I'd even saved a picture of it in my style inspiration folder -- gorgeous red silk chiffon, mixed with pops of pink and turquoise in a flowy, fun, asymetrical shape, and a style that's super comfortable and versatile. I feel like it looks amazing and effortless now with heeled sandals and a swipe of matte pink color on the lips...
And it will also be great layered with some opaque black tights, velvet wedges and a cardigan or blazer, come fall.
